Leisure. It feels good to do something for nothing. No purpose, no goal. It’s not productive. It does not have to be. True leisure is a rare sight. That’s not because so few people engage in it, but because so few are capable of surrendering themselves to it. Leisure is something that has to be allowed. The instant you second guess yourself, that light sensation, that airy feeling of being fades.
Not everything you do has to be for something else. Sometimes, doing something you like is enough. Not everything needs to feed into a greater story; this is what true leisure is.
