Rejection, like confrontation, is a directional sense of pain. It stems from a feeling of not belonging to a certain group or individual. There is a sense of exclusion. You thought you belonged somewhere, but you didn’t.
Feelings or rejection can make you feel like you are worth less. This can be incredibly painful and frustrating. Remember that when you engage with these thought patterns, you are giving an outside entity, usually another person, power over your emotions.
It is important to maintain and nurture trust in yourself and your journey. Rejection is natural, not because you are less, but because you are human and hence, imperfect by nature.
